Festival Singers is a community choir based in Sherwood Park, Alberta.    It has always maintained a high performance standard of choral music and has been graced with a variety of conductors, many of whom have been directly associated with the Department of Music, University of Alberta.  Festival Singers  welcomes adult singers.

Our sessions start in September and January of each year.  If you would like to sing with us this fall, please join us at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the music room of Archbishop Jordan High School, 2021 Brentwood Boulevard, Sherwood Park.  Future rehearsals will return to our usual location tof Festival Place once their renovations are complete.

New Co-Conductors for September, 2010!

We are very pleased to announce that we have two Co-conductors for Festival Singers, Heather Bedford Clooney and Irene Apanovitch.

Heather is based in Edmonton and has extensive involvement in choral music including the Columbian Choirs, Opera Nuova, the Edmonton Music Festival, music adjudicator and voice teacher, and was Head of English and Fine Arts at Salisbury Composite High School in Sherwood Park.

Irene holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto and is entering her 2nd year of the Choral Conducting program at the University of Alberta.

We are looking forward to an exciting year of choral music!
