Where Festival Singers hosts a licensed event, an event supervisor is needed to ensure compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to the serving of alcohol. The event supervisor plays an integral role in maximizing safety and enjoyment by ensuring everyone’s orderly conduct and compliance with maximum occupant load. The event supervisor also coordinates and oversees other roles, including event greeters, raffle and liquor ticket sellers, and food service, where applicable.
At licensed events, the event supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that no one under the age of 18 years:
- Are served liquor
- Consumes liquor
- Sells, serves or handles liquor
- Sells liquor tickets
- Receives liquor from anyone attending the event
