Why workshops?

Since 2008, Festival Singers has received grants Strathcona County Arts, Culture and Heritage Community Investment Program. These grants allow us to enrich the musical experiences we offer and to fund choral workshops open to both our members and to singers in the community of Strathcona County and beyond.

These workshops offer singers some unique and new experiences and have featured

• physical and vocal exercises
• vocal techniques and choral reading sessions
• sectional and mass rehearsals
• dynamics, phrasing, tone, colour, rhythm and articulation
