Registration forms must be completed in their entirety. This helps us update and maintain our database.


The choir season runs from September to May, and members must pay membership fees.

After you’ve registered and paid your membership fees, you’ll receive a package containing each piece of music required for the fall season. You can make notes on your sheet music in pencil. Please don’t write in ink. Music remains the property of the Festival Singers and must be returned in good condition at the end of each season. To help you learn your part, practise at home and prepare for our performances, you’ll receive a rehearsal CD.

Unless otherwise stated, practices will be held every from 7:30 through 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Festival Place in Sherwood Park. Practice times may be extended as show dates approach.

A solid performance at the end of each term depends upon our members’ hard work and regular attendance: members who miss rehearsals will lose a lot, perhaps never catching up. In other words, being part of Festival Singers is a commitment, and attendance is vital to ensuring that we put on the best possible show. Members must sign the attendance sheet each week and let the conductor and/or the executive know if they’re going to be absent.

Festival Singers is a members’ choir: everyone needs to take the lead in ensuring everything gets done. We don’t adhere to the rule that 20% of the people do 80% of the work. When we need volunteers, we expect everyone to step up to the best of their ability. We also require choir members to

Upon dissolution of the Sherwood Park Festival Singers Society, No. 5013301337, any assets remaining after paying debts and liabilities are to be disbursed to an eligible charitable group or purpose as approved by the Board.
